The new Limo Anywhere software release is in its final stages of development...
Dear Limo Anywhere Customers:
It is my pleasure to inform you that after nearly 18 months of work and, unfortunately, lengthy delays we are in the final stages of development and testing of the new release of Limo Anywhere. I know that because of the long delays many of you have lost faith in us, at least to some degree, but I promise you that we are doing our absolute best to regain it.
The new release will include minor and major improvements in virtually all areas of the administration and the online reservation systems. You will notice a better performing Dispatch grid with more intuitive features, greater flexibility with rate structures, better control over online reservations and most importantly higher level of security. In addition to making our system fully PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) compliant, we plan on becoming PCI DSS certified before the end of this year. What does this mean to you? Peace of mind. You can rest assured that your clients' confidential data will be stored in the most secure way possible.
Additionally, the new system will offer integrations with several of the industry's leading GPS tracking providers. The providers we selected so far are InSight USA, Enterprise GPS, Teletrac and e-LANTiS. The integration will allow Limo Anywhere customers to view real-time vehicle positioning data and, with proper hardware in place, send and receive data to and from the drivers directly through the GPS units and Limo Anywhere.
Our plan is to launch the new release and allow 20 of the 50+ companies that signed up to participate in our Beta testing project, to start working with the new system between the end of July and the first half of August. We are very confident that there will not be any further delays or setbacks as the vast majority of coding has already been completed.
The rest of our customers will be migrated to the new system gradually over the following three to six months. Each customer will be provided with an online tutorial as well as video training sessions several weeks prior to their migration. The tutorials will explain the new features and allow you to seamlessly transition to the new system. The migration will be done in the order in which the company joined Limo Anywhere. For example, if you purchased the software in January of 2005, you will be migrated before someone who purchased the software in March of 2005.
After apprixmately 100 companies have been migrated with no significant issues, the rate at which the customers are being migrated will increase and we may be able to complete the entire migration project in a much shorter amount of time.
We will try our best to keep you posted on the progress and any new developments, but if you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to email us at beta@limoanywhere.com.
Sincerely,
Max Paltsev
