Give Customers More Options When Pricing Isn’t Available
Limo Anywhere’s Passenger Web App can now support quote requests when pricing cannot be determined—using the same operator setting already used to control this experience in ORES.
Not every trip can—or should—receive an instant price. Some requests require an operator to review the details before providing a rate. The latest PWA update gives operators another way to handle those situations by extending quote-request support to the Passenger Web App.
The key point is that operators do not need a separate PWA-specific setting. The existing Rates & Display configuration that determines what customers can do when pricing is unavailable now also applies to the PWA quote experience.
Use your existing pricing setting to control the experience
In Rates & Display Settings, operators can determine what customers are allowed to submit when pricing is not found or has been turned off. For example, selecting Book, Quote allows the customer to choose between booking the trip without a price or submitting it as a quote request.

Example configuration
Book, Quote
When pricing cannot be determined, this configuration gives the customer both submission choices.
Give customers a clear next step
When Book, Quote is enabled and the PWA cannot determine pricing, the checkout experience can present two clear actions: Book This Trip and Submit Quote Request.

If Quote is the only available option, the quote flow is simplified further: the credit-card form does not load, and a form of payment is not required to submit the quote request. Required passenger fields are still validated before the request is submitted.
The customer can submit a quote request without completing the normal payment portion of a priced booking.
The customer can choose between booking the unpriced trip or submitting a quote request for operator review.
The goal is simple: when an instant price is not available, the customer still has a clear path forward.
Submitted quotes stay visible in the PWA
After a quote request is submitted, the customer can see the item in the PWA’s Rides experience with a clear QUOTE label. That helps distinguish a quote request from a standard booked trip.

The PWA also respects how you handle vehicles without pricing
This release also improves how the PWA handles vehicles when a price is unavailable. Vehicle visibility now follows the operator’s configured submission options: vehicles can remain available when the customer is allowed to Book or request a Quote, while vehicles that cannot be acted on are not presented as available choices.
Together, these changes make the PWA experience more consistent with the pricing and submission rules operators already use elsewhere in Limo Anywhere.
